About  Janessa Rick, PT

Janessa Rick is a licensed physical therapist who has over thirty years' experience working with babies and children (with and without physical challenges) and their parents and families, as well as elderly. She has developed and led pediatric and adult treatment seminars nationally for professionals and individuals, teaching baby massage, motor play and treatments and techniques to remedy digestive problems, including colic and constipation, respiratory concerns, and sensory motor development.


Working with a variety of educators, Janessa Rick’s family-focused
approach integrates many techniques to help parents help their children.
In 2012 Janessa Started Body4Brain, a brain based physical therapy approach, specializing in children with Sensory Processing Concerns & Disorders. The use of Interactive Metronome, Integrated Listen System, Reflex Integration, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Polvagal Theory (including the Safe and Sound Protocol, as well as Pilates and traditional Physical Therapy concepts are all integrated into her treatments with both children and adults.
Janessa Rick holds a Physical Therapy degree from New York University and is a member of the Pediatric Section of the American Physical Therapy Association, Physical Mind Institute and Developmental Delay Resources.


She has lectured nationally and Internationally on Early Intervention, Pediatric Treatment and Adult Treatment, Reflex Integration, Myofascial Release, Pediatric Pilates and Holistic Physical Therapy. Janessa created The EASY Baby Program to bring the latest and most up to date information on enhancing development and prevention of developmental delays to the general public. She uses a holistic model of child development that incorporates the essential role of family and environmental interaction to promote healthy babies, enhanced brain and body growth and general ease and wellness.
